About me: I am a professional custom fashion, Pin Up, Conceptual & Commercial Model.  I am overly organized and take my work quite seriously. In my downtime I read & re read novels, attempt the art of writing, clean things, stare at the wall, cook & consume delicious foods, and drink in copious amounts.

A few of my lusts in life are: high heels, big hair, red lips, stockings, garters, gloves, veils, Femme Fatales, Medieval Literature, Royalty, Carnies, female Serial Killers, Cult Leaders, Religious fanatics, Martyrs, Stevie Nicks, Howard Stern, pessimism, sarcasm, bawdy women, berries, Champagne, hand cut french fries, Medieval, Victorian, and American culture from the 20’s through the early 70’s.

A few things that cause me disdain are: proselytizing, opinionated people that have no debate skills, poultry, pop stars, pop tarts, gladiator sandals, sugar, the misunderstanding of my name … many assume I find myself to be a DELUXE model of some sort, a creamy brand of macaroni & cheese, or an upgrade from something standard. Let me explain- Lux and Mona are both names I adore and personal nicknames. At the age of 15 I fell in love with the character, Lux Libson, from the Jeffery Eugenides novel, "The Virgin Suicides". I adored her. I wanted to be her, she was soft and pretty, "she radiated health and mischief” (26). The same year after my first reading of, “Othello” I fell in love with the name Desdemona, luxurious and foreign, spoken with tones of certainty. Lux was replaced with Mona and we have- Mona (Noble one) de (of the) Lux (Light).
